Kottayam should immediately follow the waste disposal program me initiated and successfully managed in Thiruvanathapuram. Ayalkkuuttam like arrangements should be started in every ward and nooks in the town and waste bins placed or collected from the house and transported through auto rickshaw like vehicles to the dumping ground where modern techniques of dosposals should be carried out, part of the waste being converted in to manure.
